Billie Hardee Community Outreach Program

The Billie Hardee Community Outreach Program believes that when appropriate, children should remain with their families/guardians/caregivers and every attempt made to keep the family intact.

Behavior Modification

The Community Outreach Program, provides face to face service designed specifically to identify, target, stop, and/or redirect inappropriate and/or undesirable behaviors for children and adolescents.

• Clinically planned techniques
• Carefully trained professionals who work with the child in their home and/or community

Family Support

The Community Outreach Program also offers Family Support Services designed to enable families and caregivers to develop, as well as, improve their ability to provide the appropriate care for their child or adolescent.

• Caring and professional individuals who are sensitive to family dynamics, and cultures
• Educate and engage family in the treatment process

• Coach and redirect activities that support therapy interventions

Family Group Conferencing

Family Group Conferencing (FGC) is a practice that believes that families are often best able to make decisions about their own family.  With the support of SCDSS and the community, the family will develop their own plan to make sure the emotional & physical safety and well being of their children are met.
