JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Wraps Transporter provides transportation for emotionally disturbed children to and from a variety of locations and insures their safety by exercising good judgment and extreme caution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives personal vehicle or the Billie Hardee home for boys van in accordance with time schedules; transporting emotionally disturbed children to and from various sites, as assigned.
Oversees the loading and unloading of clients and assures that safety belts are secured. Must meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform the required duties. Must be courteous, dependable and punctual. Have the ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions in an independent manner. This includes the usage of a map or GPS system. Documents and reports severe disciplinary cases. Assures maintenance of their vehicle in safe and clean operating condition. Maintains mileage records. Attends training as assigned. Maintains current required licenses and certificates. Notifies appropriate individuals of any delays or accidents.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.
- Must submit to a criminal background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have valid automobile insurance with a minimum of $600,000 in comprehensive coverage.
