Our Mission Accredited By:
Improving the Quality of Life
The mission of the Billie Hardee Home for Boys is to improve the quality of life for children and
families by providing community-oriented services of prevention and intervention through the collaboration of existing resources and the development of new resources.
Since 1977, the organization has operated two residential facilities: the Billie Hardee Cottage and the Darlington Pines Cottage. Both are therapeutic group homes for abandoned, abused, neglected and delinquent teenage boys.
Providing a Home Away From Home
In an effort to provide a "home away from home" for all residents, Billie Hardee Home for Boys has always made it a priority to see that the boys have a positive living and learning environment. The six to nine month stay at the home may be the only time in the child's life that he actually feels comfortable, safe, wanted, healthy, and loved.
